My students come from a community with high rates of poverty. Their families are faced with various challenges on a daily basis. We will be starting the 2020 school year teaching in a remote setting, and will be providing an education for our students virtually.
Many of my students struggle to gain accesses to the necessary technology for learning at home. Most do not own a computer. This is why it is crucial to provide them with individual tablets and headphones so that they can learn easily and comfortably from the safety of their home. These tables will allow my students to view and engage in live and prerecorded lessons. The headphones help to quiet surrounding stimuli so that they can focus on learning.
