Do you remember your carpet from elementary school? It is a wonderful, beautiful place where a lot of learning (and giggles) take place. My sweet second graders are always coming to the carpet for lessons, read alouds, and even just to talk in the morning before we get our day started! They will benefit from having a warm, inviting area that makes them excited about learning! A classroom should be a space that students look forward to coming to every day. This carpet will help make our space more inviting! I have also requested a pencil sharpener and stools for my small group table. The stools will be a great place for my students to sit and work with me daily.
