Students will use these materials to learn self understanding and as a way to work through their trauma. We use the masks and paint sticks to create an outside mask of what people around us see us as; and an inside mask of what we see ourselves as.
The magic model is to be used to learn about their trauma and how to protect themselves. The will make a castle and learn how to protect themselves from others who may live outside of their castle. In doing this, they will learn what is dangerous, who they can trust, and how to report a problem.
