What is STEM? STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. I believe that the LEGOs, OSMO, and STEM challenges will prepare my students for the future by allowing them to think inventively and imaginatively, develop team-building skills, learn to problem solve, and develop higher-order thinking skills.
These STEM items will allow my students to have challenging hands-on experiences that will increase their educational opportunities.
The students will be able to utilize the STEM resources before school, when they finish their work early, and throughout the school day as we do exciting, engaging, hands-on learning experiences. These new tools will be a fantastic way to extend their learning.
I am so EXCITED for my students to experience a new adventure in our classroom that they can use to enjoy!! It will foster deeper engagement and creativity and make learning FUN!
