Our class would absolutely love seat sacks so that we can keep our collaborative spaces neat and organized throughout the year. The curricula that our school implements requires a lot of discussions, group work, and movement in the classroom.
Students are encouraged to work together to solve problems, learn through collaborative conversations, make discoveries and risk take together. It is difficult to do this when big, bulky backpacks are cluttering the classroom floor and space. I do not have your traditional row by row seating in the classroom. I have 4th graders and their bodies are quickly growing, so space can become very limited. With these seat sacks, I can minimize the clutter surrounding our work space and the students can give all their attention to the projects we have, instead of worrying about the backpacks on the ground as they discuss and move around the classroom.
Seat sacks are something small that can make a huge difference in my classroom. The environment plays a large role in the quality of learning that takes place in the classroom. With these seat sacks, students will learn independence and important organizational skills.
