I want to give my students the best opportunities for learning. These materials will help us everyday for hands-on learning through the use of different materials. It will help with fine motor skills and will go with what we are learning each week. "Studies show that students learn best when learning is active, when they are engaged in hands-on classroom activities and games, and involved in what they are learning. Scientist believe that when children use all of their senses it helps the brain create pathways that make it easier and quicker to retain information." -TeachHub
The students love when they are able to manipulate materials, especially when it is something that they are already learning about in the classroom. Hands-on activities help to keep the students engaged in their learning! These centers will give the students more ways to use what they are learning and apply it in a different way. This helps them to learn the material better and grow more throughout the year!
