These books will help my students have a diverse reading experience in my classroom. These books will add new and exciting characters, as well as, informational texts that appeal to my students.
My students love to read together and independently, and have requested to have these books in our library on numerous occasions. My students love knowing that when they finish a book about a beloved character, there is another one waiting in the series. Introducing book series has increased my students reading engagement. They are able to share their reading experiences with classmates who are reading the same series.
