Let's not leave out robotics for young learners. Students in grades 2-5 are curious about the world around them, and we often emphasize coding and robotics skills in middle and high school. But how can they prepare themselves for the skills without having exposure to it early on? Having materials for students to create scribble bot robots will help them integrate technical skills with their creativity in science and engineering, all while having fun!
It's important to me that students have choices in what they build and a place to express their ideas. I'm looking for building materials for scribble bots, from the motors and batteries to wires. Having these raw materials means that students get to express their creativity of how they want their robots to become. Afterwards, they can design their own robots or reuse the motors for other projects. Our K-8 school will benefit from having these raw materials beyond the scribble bots. The possibilities are endless!
