The after-school program is designed to incorporate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) and reading activities. The After-School Adventures program will help promote problem solving and critical thinking skills students can use to help them navigate through everyday challenges and allow them to become better prepared for the future. The goal is to challenge and increase the students’ reading and math levels and prepare them for the 21st century through the creative use of technology. An additional feature of the program will include professional guest speakers, who will provide positive motivation, encouragement, and the experience that participants will see firsthand, team and individual competitions, and project presentations.
