The students in my classroom are amazing (I know every teacher says that)! They are kind-hearted, sincere, hard-workers, and I absolutely love getting up every day to do my job to teach them. My students are faced with the challenges that come with being in a large, urban, public high school, but they are also faced with the additional struggles of physical and intellectual disabilities. In no way do they allow these differences to determine who they are, and I have come to appreciate the strengths they each have, along with the amazing things they can teach me about patience and hard work.
