My project is all about supplies needed to make our classroom great. This will give students more ways to learn and grow. My students go to multiple classes and sometimes they do not have the supplies they need to be in each environment. This list helps me give them individual supplies while in my room. Due to Coivd many students have not been able to afford additional school supplies. These supplies will be directly used by the students instead of asking for them to supply the materials.
The learning materials help me differentiate based on their individual levels. Since I have three to 4 grade levels per year and all students have a leanring disability, these materials help me to teach at their level. The learning materials align directly with Nevada Academic Content standards RL.K.1, RF. 1.3, RF.2.3 for reading and phonics. For math, these supplies will work on 1.OA.A and 2. OA.A which is operations and algebraic thinking which will help increase number sense. This gives my students with learning disabilities direct access to additional learning materials to help individualize their curriculum in my class according to the standards they are working on at their level.
