These materials will make a huge difference in my students learning as there is no budget for special education teachers to create flexible seating options to Accommodate our diverse learning population. Flexible seating and sensory tools will provide an opportunity within the classroom setting for students experiencing dis-regulation and trouble focusing to choose appropriate options and tools to self regulate to regain focus in their learning. Currently we do not have any flexible seating options and very limited sensory tools within the classroom for the students to choose from. My goal is to create a space where they can begin to learn to choose and use tools to create and aid their own ability to find calm.
