Students Helping Veterans: Big Heroes, Tiny Homes is a service project created by high school architecture and engineering students to provide housing for homeless veterans. The goal is to build one home each year and donate the home to a community for local homeless veterans. Service-learning engages students in the educational process, using what they learn in the classroom to solve real-life challenges which will benefit others and the community. This structure will be used as a home for someone who also has a true heart of service, a special person who served our country and all of us through his military service.
