The use of iPads is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in reading centers. Our students all learn differently. In our school, we use Reading Eggs which is a elementary reading program online. We only have computer lab once a week, so it is important to expose the students to multiple forms of technology. In our town, many families don鈥檛 have access to technology other than a cell phone. Only 5 of my 18 students have seen a desktop computer and only 4 of them have an iPad in their home. iPads give a 1:1 learning opportunity for the students that they don鈥檛 get with a general classroom teacher.
