We have been given a grant to use iReady with our 2nd graders. Since we do not have enough iPads for each class to use, we have a difficult time giving each child enough time to meet their goals for iReady each week. Using iReady during the past year, we have seen our students grow in their understanding of math concepts.
By donating to the project, you will help us make sure our 2nd graders have enough time to achieve the goals set each week for them. There are many programs available for iPads to enhance and help with reinforcing skills and testing those skills taught through Reading Street and EnVision. We can use the iPads as an interactive whiteboard, a camera, video editor, and a textbook reader. In addition, there are apps: iReady, Spelling City, Reflex Math, Lexia, Kids Sight Words, Nearpod, Teach Your Monster to Read, and many others that support reading, math fact fluency, and reading comprehension. The sky is the limit with this technology!
