My students will discover and learn about the works around them by reading Scholastic News. They will develop questions that will turn into investigations. My students will inquire about scientific topics such as volcanoes, energy and Earth鈥檚 resources. My students will apply what they have learned by communicating to myself and other peers what they have discovered. My students will also use the information to develop a love for reading and science. Students will share this information with their parents. Scholastic News will provide information that will be valuable in their learning. I will use this resource to spark their curious minds.
