These resources will help my kinders grow in all areas at school. Students will be able to write, draw, and use different manipulatives to keep them engaged in the lessons. Students can use the child-sized whiteboard, markers, and playdough to help with their fine motor skills and to reinforce the standards RF3.c (Read common high-frequency words by sight, i.e. the of, to you, of look, she is my, are).
Collaboration and discourse is what my students need. The coloring books and individual toys will be used in class and during recess to help build collaboration while using discourse as they play according to the standard SL1 Participation in collaborative conversations with diverse partners about kindergarten topics and texts with peers and adults in small or large groups. To be able to provide different resources to my students and to keep them engaged while having fun learning is the best part of teaching.
