The materials chosen are to help my students, with disabilities, continue to make strides in their learning. My class currently does not have a window to help with seeing, so I am requesting a rug for touch. My thought is to create a calming space for my students for them to relax during sensory overload.
The other items I am requesting for my class are sensory items for students to sensory play to another level. The sensory table allows for students to have unique textures, while exploring light. Students are also able to build their Math, Science and Language skills.
