The book bins in my class are clearly old, broken, and abused at this point -- sadly taped together yet still with holes, etc. New book bins will empower my students (many of whom don't have many books at home) to feel happy and proud about the books they select for themselves from our classroom library! One of the first things my young readers learn in our classroom is how to pick an appropriate "Just Right for Me" book, as well as how to read and store their books responsibly and respectfully.
Brand new, colorful book bins will add to the joy of creating their own personalized libraries! New book bins will enhance the awesome experience of practicing their reading everyday -- be it on their own or with a friend -- and learning to love reading, in the hopes of becoming life-long readers and learners!
