Last year, I came across the problem of having a mixture of snap cubes and a few scattered unifix cubes making it difficult to create ten trains. The snap cubes were difficult for the students to pull apart and snap together so I would like a set of unifix cubes so that it can be easier for students to manipulate. I will also be able to give students a better representation visually of what they will be learning. Also in math, they learned about coins. Very hard to do when they are looking at copies of coins on a black and white paper. I brought in actual coins but the more coins the better for students to become familiar with.
As of right now the rug I have is so dull and old. The walls in my classroom are wooden so when it comes to decorating I try to use bright colors to lighten up the room. It is why I would like a brand new carpet to bring some more color into the classroom. I want the classroom environment as inviting as possible for my students not only through my teacher personality but also through the use of d茅cor. It is also why I would like the flexible seating options so that the students can have more reason to enjoy reading or I can use them to assist students who have trouble sitting in their chair when it is needed.
When talking about a writer's composition book you think of the class wide-ruled notebook so it's what many parents buy their first grader. What their child actually need is a page that is half filled with space to create a drawing and the other half for writing.
