I have had seat sacks for 15 years! They started as hand-me-downs and I've used them every year. They are so nice to have! My students put anything that goes home in them and then we easily clean them out at the end of the day. No getting up and down to put things in cubbies.
Unfortunately, my seat sacks are breaking down. They are ripping and falling apart. I've sewn many up but this was a short term fix. They are now slightly too short to hold anything too big comfortably. So this year's solution is to hold them up using cardboard and my kids are sitting on cardboard. No complaints yet but it needs to be fixed. I've looked into replacing them but found the cost exorbitant! The ones I currently have are over $80 for 6. This is ridiculous! Hence the cardboard. But Amazon has some different ones that will work for much cheaper. I won't be able to replace my whole class', but it will be close. I can replace the remaining one's next year or write another proposal.
