A majority of my students have a hard time focusing on reading and working from their desks. Many prefer sitting on the floor or on comfortable couches/beanbags to work from. With these flexible seating options, my students will have a variety to choose from and keep focused on their work. With my project, I hope to implement a variety of seating options for students to select from and ensure movement in the classroom. Through movement, my students with IEPs can move and not feel as though they are seated all day. What's more is that students can learn to collaborate and learn to build a safe and responsible community in the classroom.

About my class
