These items will be used to create an environment my students will feel comfortable in. I am trying to create a place that encourages learning and happiness simultaneously. I believe decorating a classroom helps add to the warmth of the classroom, and having specific places for them to read, work, collaborate, etc. will help keep the classroom organized and vibrant. I would be using the rug and games to promote a collaborative community. These items would be used for rotations, free time, and in the silent reading corner, (that鈥檚 what the rug is for!) The decorations will be used to help encourage the students throughout the day as well as be visuals for them if they get stuck or can鈥檛 remember something (literacy posters, primary resources, etc.)
