Having access to different learning materials at a young age is so important to a child's brain development. Preschool age children learn through play. Having materials that they can manipulate with their hands will help form bridges in different hand eye functions, and their brain development. Children with special needs require materials that are catered to meet their individual needs. No one child learns the same, therefore these materials will help me create lessons to help those who need help with learning simple tasks such as stacking, lacing, sorting, creating, and constructing. Lessons that promote independence will build a platform for confident learners, and I desire to help all of my students reach their highest potential.
