Reading ability plays a HUGE role in all aspects of life and I want to provide my students with every possible tool I can for them to improve their reading levels. Read 180 is a technologically driven program intended to provide students with support that assists them in reaching their lexile goals and ultimately helping them to reach grade level reading ability. The program offers tremendous support in the form of videos for visual learners and audio for auditory learners. Most Read 180 students fall into these two learning styles which is why higher quality headphones would greatly help support them in their reading endeavors.
These headphones would allow my students to use their time more effectively and support them in reaching their reading goals. Currently, time is spent trying to find headphones or I am repairing headphones utilizing tape. Each of my class sections utilizes headphones for approximately 40 minutes each day. The headphones frequently break beyond repair and occasionally we do not have enough headphones for students to use. These newer and higher quality headphones would make a world of difference to my kids. Please help out in any way that you can.
