The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. I just need your help in getting everything through our door!
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
The use of whiteboards is a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math and phonics. Students come to the carpet with whiteboards for guided practice and to record modeled strategies. Students also use whiteboards during small group work and independent practice. The whiteboards allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work.
The use of organizational tools in our classroom will help keep students on task. When students need certain materials they must leave their seats quietly to get what they need. Even though they are great about doing this, it is distracting for many of my students who have focusing issues. With the use of personal chair organizers, students would be able to have everything at their seat. The organizational cart will be placed in the back of our classroom and will help Math/ELA centers run smoothly every day.
