I teach 4 & 5 year olds in a Head Start Program in Michigan. All of the families in the program are below the national poverty level. Many of them do not have the materials they need to continue learning. Many of the families are struggling just to afford the basics and are in survival mode. My hope is to lessen their stress by providing their children with materials that will engage them in active learning.
