Teaching in a Title I school requires a great deal of out of pocket funds on a teacher's part. Year after year, many of these supplies need to be replaced. After 15 years I need to continue to update my workstations. These supplies and materials will help my students be successful throughout the year. These supplies will be used in daily routines, small groups and to create workstations for students. Once the workstations are created and laminated they will be able to be used year after year.
Students need the opportunity to have hands-on workstations, pencil and paper activities, small groups, workstations, whole group activities with a teaching easel, and many other learning experiences. These materials and everyday school supplies will ensure they are not limited in their learning.
