I will use the glass dry erase boards to replace boards on my walls which unfortunately are unusable because the chalk will not erase. The students will be highly motivated to display their work on these glass boards and I can use their work to facilitate error analysis discussions which is critical to undo misconceptions in math.
Incorporating dry erase boards into the math lesson really ups the level of student engagement. It breaks the monotony of paper and pencil tasks. Second, students are more willing to take risks because of their errors do not seem as "permanent" to them as they can easily just swipe away and try again.
These boards will also make their learning public. As their teacher I can easily see what errors students are making and provide immediate feedback and reteach as necessary.
