Having more organization to the classroom allows students to focus on what really matters, learning. Right now my room is unorganized. The students aren't sure where their supplies are, or where they need to put them. With the mailboxes they will know where to put their supplies and they will always be where they left them. This will help them get focused and ready to learn.
I have tables in my room and they are constantly moving and students feel apprehensive about if they are in the correct place. With the rugs this would eliminate that feeling because there will be a well defined place for the tables. Students will be able to walk in, know their table is in the correct place and go straight to their supplies and be ready for the lesson of the day.
