First, I want to thank you for checking out my project. It means so much that you are here. As some of you may know, typically in an elementary classroom supplies are shared. This is done so that teachers, districts and parents arent paying tons of money for their students supplies. Now that COVID-19 has happened, shared supplies is a thing of the past. My students are in need of their own supply kit so that they can safely come back to school. This is only one of many things that will be implemented in order to help my students, but this is the one which seems to cost the most money.
This project is designed to empower my students to attend school again in a safe way. All of the funds provided by this project will go towards purchasing individual items for each of my students in order to keep them sanitized and minimize cross-contamination.
By providing my students with their own "school learning kit" I will be able to keep them safe, give their parents a small piece of mind, and begin to bring normalcy back into their lives.
Children need a safe place like a school. They need to be able to come to school and be themselves. They need to be able to learn from others and experience art and technology and friendships. I am dedicated to doing whatever needed in order to make this a safe option for students once again.
