I am a new teacher this year and need school supplies! These materials will not only help me, but my students as well. Being an organized teacher will make me an effective, efficient teacher. Knowing that everything has a place will take the stress off of my shoulders, so that I can have more focus on my students!
With these materials, especially the oil pastels, I will be able to do more integrated art projects with my students! My students will be using the oil pastels to create Morphology Creatures. Using the oil pastels to create these creatures helps my students express what they learned about Greek and Latin roots in a fun and exciting way. Doing art lets the students be creative and use their imagination while learning at the same time.
