Our students are special needs students from low income areas and often live in single parent homes with other siblings. The students are primarily Autistic students and receive instruction in a self-contained setting.
Our students are eager learners and despite the challenges and their disabilities they face on a daily basis they still strive to be successful in education.
Lots of hands-on and center-driven instruction is used daily and we would be able to use the IJoy headphones to aid instruction. The headphones would allow the students help with the sensory and attention issues that sometimes restrict their leaning environment.
