Children learn best through stories. Stories are the building block of knowledge. Scholastic Magazines will provide my students with opportunities to read and explore multiple topics about the world and people around them. At the same time, the magazines provide opportunities to learn and explore basic literacy skills.
Don鈥檛 you remember the excitement of getting a Scholastic magazine when you were a student? Each month, the students will recieve their very own Scholastic magazine, full of brightly colored pictures and information. They will flip through, turning pages, talking about the pictures, pointing to, identifying and reading words from left to right, top to bottom.
The "Let's Read and Find Out" series will provide additional reading material for science topics.
