The classroom coffee shop will provide my students with the opportunity to follow step-by-step directions, navigate throughout the school, and interact appropriately with staff and peers in the building that they may not see throughout their typical day. A Keurig coffee maker has already been donated to our classroom.
The remaining items will help us create a fully functioning coffee shop. We will use the cart to deliver items at specified times throughout the school day. We will use the cups, coffees, and accessories to create each item ordered. We will be able to provide hot and iced coffee as well as a favorite to most of the teachers in the building - iced tea! The students will be in charge of reading each order submitted by a Google Form, fulfilling the order, delivering the order, and collecting payment for the order - all while interacting appropriately with anyone they meet along the way. The money raised by selling the items will be used to re-stock our shop as needed.
