Make a donation Mrs. Creamer can use on her next classroom project.
On the first day of school, students receive their school supply list and most automatically tell the teacher, "My parents can't afford these." I want to help my students and families feel stress-free on the first day of school by telling them that wonderful people have donated their supplies. This would be such a wonderful gift for my students and their families.
This small gift will definitely help build relationships and provide a sense of relief for the families. Most of the families in my school community are trying to figure out how to feed their children and keep a roof over their heads. This project will allow families to use the money they would spend on supplies to be used to pay rent, buy food, or maybe buy their child a new shirt for school.
