This upcoming school year will be my first year of teaching! I'm thrilled to be working with 1st graders, but as a new teacher I am in need of support. A classroom environment is essential to encouraging and inspiring students to be excited about coming to school! This project will help me do just that, by providing each student with a place to seat and enjoy during small group and independent time! This carpet will serve not only as a learning area, but a community area as well. Students will use this space to build lasting relationships and social skills throughout their 1st grade year!

About my class
