The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will be used to create a routine for independent work stations for each student! The three drawer systems will be used to create the routine for independent work, there will be one activity in each drawer and each student will have their own set of drawers. The hanging file organizer will make it easy for staff in the room to observe the independent work and quickly grab a student's folder to collect data. The laminator, velcro, and laminating sheets will help ensure that any materials made can be used by multiple students for years to come! Lastly, the activity chests will hold work or activities that the students and staff can quickly grab if there is any unexpected open time. One of the main goals of my special education classroom is to promote independence and with these materials we will be able to do that even more!
