Here at Porter, we are Excellent Always! I work very closely with the other third grade teacher here, Mrs. Tucker. Our students work so hard all year. Being in third grade we throw a lot of new learning, new independence and responsibility at them and they always rise to the challenge. We use technology daily to help engage our students and get them ready for the real world. One problem we have seen frequently is the earbuds or headphones we use tend to stop working or break down on us throughout the year. Being in a low social economic community, not all parents can afford to replace the headphones they worked hard to buy at the beginning of the school year. We are hoping to relieve parents of this burden.
With the use of earbuds/headphones, students are able focus into the global world and engage whole- heartedly into the videos of their classmates, community and world. We believe students can excel with the access to both our loving, teaching hands and the global world at their fingertips.
Please help us get these earbuds and headphones to help our students be as successful as we know they can be!
