I would like students to walk into our classroom, each day, knowing that our room offers choices and supports their individual learning styles. Flexible seating allows students multiple options, as well as helps students to develop ways to evaluate and reflect on their individual needs in the classroom to help them succeed.
Entering a classroom that is inviting and encouraging allows students to start the day with a "ready to learn" mindset. The room will be set up with different types of seating. Students will enter the room each morning and select their seating option for the day. My goal is for students to have a spot in the room where they can best focus and move around, offering a more healthy option than sitting all day!
