My students enjoy learning new activities in p.e., and pickleball would be a new activity for them and an excellent way to keep them being active. I will use pickleball as an activity to improve their overall fitness. It is a vigorous sport and fun as well. It is a simple sport for them to learn and have success quickly in participating in. I am constantly looking for ways to get my students to not only be active but enjoy being active. By introducing them to pickleball, they will experience the fun of being active which will help them lead an active lifestyle. Pickleball is also a lifelong sport in which they can participate well into their adult lives.
