Having flexible seating will allow students to choose their own seating which helps them to feel empowered and ready to be their best learning selves. The theory behind flexible seating is the idea that when kids are comfortable in their environment, they will learn better. Students with learning disabilities benefit from the increased focus that results from having seating that suits their special needs. Flexible seating can also help with sensory stimulation which can help kids focus and process info.
