With the recent COVID-19 pandemic and all of the new guidelines for students to safely return to school, Kindergarten teachers realize how much is going to change for our students. Sharing and hands-on learning and play cannot happen, because students need individual materials and supplies.
As kindergarten teachers, our kindergarten team still want our students to enjoy their school day and still be able to play and learn in a way that feels familiar to them. Students’ social and emotional needs are going to be greater and we still want to be able to help them grow to be successful students and people. The majority of our students either did not attend pre-school or have not been in pre-school, because of the pandemic. We want our students to build relationships with each other and be able to be safe. Having access to individual bins that allow them to work creatively and socialize safely is going to make the biggest difference this year!
