The kindergartners love to choose their own books to read. They love to read about dinosaurs, pets, fairies, and airplanes. They read these books again and again, visiting them like a faithful friend.
The book bins will give the children a place to keep their books, so that they can read them as often as they wish, and share and trade books with friends.
Journals will allow the children the opportunity to share their thinking in both pictures and words. These journals will also be kept in the book bins, so that the children can access them whenever they have something to share.
