This technology will help assist my students of special needs. My students are currently using blended learning. The technology will allow my students to use these digital devices to help the challenging tasks of blended learning. My students were not supplied technology for both in school and at home. Most of my students forget to being in their devices daily. This technology would remain in school. My students have a range of mixed disabilities and are from grades third to fifth grade. Some students are nonverbal with a variety of intellectual, emotional, physical, and sensory impairments. My students will use this technology so they can maintain the same routine at home as well in school. They will use this technology for ELA, math, science, social studies and social emotional learning. This technology will enable my students with disabilities to compensate for certain impairments. This specialized technology promotes independence and decreases the need for other support.
