Students are using the design process to create a project at the end of the quarter that will show knowledge of sensors, circuits, coding, and problem solving skills. Each project uses at least one Microbit to operate their invention; some have used up to three Microbits. Their invention is to be a solution to a real-life problem, and they create a prototype of this invention using the Microbit and any sensors they have learned in class. Some of the projects created have been a dispenser for your pet to access food when you are gone from home, a type of piano to introduce music, and an interactive board to inform others about The Butterfly House in Sioux Falls, SD.
