In my self contained class, my students often times need to walk around to release energy, bounce their feet on resistance bands, release anxiety and stress with a stress ball, or stand to learn new content. These materials will help my students feel seen, heard, and appreciated for their different learning styles. No one in this world learns the same, and it is my job as their teacher to break down barriers so that all students have access to the content. These materials will also help my students not only stay focused​ but learn what materials help them learn best in a classroom setting. Therefore, they will be able to advocate for their learning needs in the future.
About my class
