Many students enter high school without the necessary technology in our school. This has kept students from visualizing and seeing connections to real world applications in mathematics. Both in person students and students learning virtually will be able to practice and apply their Algebra skills to solve many problems. This builds confidence and they quickly find they are able to do math and quickly find joy. One of my greatest wins are when students ask when they will use the math in their life and by the end of the first lesson, they have countless examples, mostly through graphing calculator activities.
