My students absolutely love to read. They continue to find new books and series that engage and take them on new adventures. Having these tablets in my classroom would allow me to set my students up with an 鈥淓pic鈥 reading account that will leave them with endless opportunities to find the books that are their perfect match! Every quarter our school has AR point goals and this will enable each student to easily reach their goal! This will also allow my ESL students to use translator apps in the classroom and to find books on their level to help them with their English skills.
As a Leader in Me school, I am always looking for ways for my students to become more active in the classroom. I intend to implement QR codes to further engage my students and let them be more in control of their learning. With QR codes, I will be able to set up learning experiences around the classroom that students will be able to scan in centers to find reading passages or to help them check their own math fluency!
