The filament that is funded for this project will allow students print physical representations of their designs related to Life Science. Small objects such as bacteria, viruses, bacteriophage, DNA, nitrogen bases, and others are too small to see with the naked eye. Our 3D printer allows students to learn from a physical copy that they can touch!

Having a physical representation of their work, a creation that they can keep, is powerful. When students take ownership of their learning, powerful understanding is the result. In this case, students get to take home their work and proudly share it with their family!
